In the work “Before That Apple” I explore issues of our sexual desires. I use the metaphor of a “juice bag” and how once the package has been drunk and exhausted there is the desire to squeeze out more.

What is the balance/relationship between fulfilment and hunger?

The use of the embossed image of an apple, (the forbidden fruit), represents the shape of the labia. The more the contents are consumed the more the embossed image becomes clear, representing desire, that can never be quenched or sated.
